Simon Pickavance joined the company in 2006 as Commercial Director. He manages the planned direction, growth and strategy for the business and leads a strong team in Sales & Product Development.
In 2009 Simon developed the Zinc brand and expanded the product groups for Hy-pro. Zinc now is synonymous with wheeled toys/actions sports and has formed a key part of the growth strategy for the group both domestically and internationally.
Prior to joining Hy-pro Simon’s career has been firmly based in senior sales and product development roles. Working with numerous markets and diverse supply chains around the world to deliver a range of consumer products.
Simon has over 20 years experience being involved in product management and strategic planning & business development across varied consumer markets including consumer electronics at AGFA – Gevaert and wheeled products for the HTI Group.
